1. Enter your cube

Paint the colours of your real scrambled cube, face by face, on the same 3D input as the online solver. The site checks the cube is a physically possible one — piece by piece, not just colour counts.

2. Learn phase by phase

The Academy analyses your exact cube, detects which of the eight beginner phases are already done, and plans the rest around your position — never a generic sample scramble.

3. Turn your real cube

Watch the 3D demonstration, make the same turns on your physical cube, and press “I Did It”. If your cube ever looks different, re-enter it and the plan is rebuilt from the real state.

Honest by design

  • • Every suggested sequence is simulated on your exact cube state and verified before it is shown — no invented moves.
  • • The site cannot see your physical cube. Progress is marked as confirmed by you, never claimed as machine-verified.
  • • Made a wrong turn? Re-enter the cube at any point and the plan is rebuilt from the real position.

What you need

  • • A real physical 3×3 Rubik's Cube with the standard colour arrangement (white opposite yellow, red opposite orange, green opposite blue).
  • • About 15–30 minutes for your first guided solve. Your session is saved on this device, so you can stop and resume any time.
  • • No camera, no app, no sign-up — colour entry is manual, on the same proven input as the solver.

The eight beginner phases

The same method taught by cubing instructors for decades — but every step is planned from your cube's actual position, and phases you have already completed are detected and skipped, never torn down.

  1. 1

    White Daisy

Gather the four white edges around the yellow centre.

  2. 2

    White Cross

Move the white edges down to form a cross on the white face.

  3. 3

    White Corners

Insert the four white corners to finish the first layer.

  4. 4

    Middle Layer

Insert the four middle edges to complete the first two layers.

  5. 5

    Yellow Cross

Turn the four top edges so their yellow stickers face up.

  6. 6

    Yellow Face

Turn the top corners so the whole top face is yellow.

  7. 7

    Yellow Corner Positioning

Move each yellow corner to its correct corner position.

  8. 8

    Yellow Edge Positioning

Cycle the last edges into place and solve the cube.
